They condemned the brutal killing of Health care workers during polio campaign. Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) also joined the demonstration of Lady Health Workers, to show solidarity with them. They said that perpetrators behind this heinous crime should be brought to justice.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) strongly condemned the brutal killing of polio health workers. The insecurity prevails among the healthcare workers. The rulers are least bothered about the security of general public, especially healthcare providers and hence depriving the nation from already deficient health facilities. PIMA also expressed its concerns over increasing incidents of kidnapping of doctors for ransom and extortion. PIMA stressed that this was the prime responsibility of government to provide security to its citizens.
